Xochimex Cantina Grill

This place is great. I stopped in for a quick bite. I had never tried it before and really enjoyed it. The decor inside is very nice and there's a lot to look at. You get to pick from a variety of food to try and watch it get prepared right in front of you. They offer lots of sauces and toppings so you can customize your meal just how you like it. You can choose from burritos, tacos, bowls, or nachos. The food has a very fresh taste with lots of Mexican flavors. I tried a burrito and it was made quickly. It was large enough to share and came with tortilla chips. This is a great place for a quick stop or even to take out. I would eat here more often if I lived nearby.

Zero customer service. The manager has a very bad attitude. I went with my mom and she is allergic to spicy we asked first and the manager told us nothing is spicy. When my mom tried the food the food was spicy and we told her the issue and she tell us to wait. We had to wait more than 15 min because it was a line of people. This is zero customer service, and then we ask for the money back and she told us no and that we still have to wait because there were more people in line. This is ridiculous , first of all you need to be fire since you don’t have the experience not even the professionalism to work with customer. Do not go here, the food is very spicy if you have a medical condition do not go here.

One of the best tex mex places in south fl. Tortillas are made fresh from dough in house. Ingredients are always fresh and hot. The flavor is always there. Guacamole is a little smoother than I prefer but tastes amazing. Only Draw back are the corn chips tend to not be that good/ sometimes lacking freshness but the array or salsa make up for it 5 stars every time

This food was not good. What turned me off the most was the guacamole. It was like puréed avocado, like baby food that has chopped onions and tomatoes. A place like this should have fresh guacamole, especially if you charge the price they do. The woman threw the chicken on the grill for a few mins, it’s unseasoned and has no flavor. I honestly expected a better taste but it totally failed. The price was not worth it.

Listen Emi R in the Miami Lakes location does not need to be working if she is so unhappy with her job. She had the nastiest rudest attitude. She doesn’t respond to anything being spoken to her. She looks like she’s hispanic and is racist for not speaking spanish. A supervisor or somebody from corporate needs to fire her. The place was filled with white people and the hispanic gets mistreated. Nah. Something needs to get done because I’m going to take this to all the news stations and social media because more than half of all the reviews is about her rude behind. If you work in a Mexican spot speak spanish at least when spoken to in spanish. If you don’t want to then don’t work in a Mexican or spanish spot periodt. Customer Service is a lacking at this location in particular. Train your staff better. Treat your customers with a smile and good attitude. Now the food was not on point either. The rice was hard not soft and did lack salt. The beans were salty and so was the pork. No utensils, napkins nor sauces were given nor offered. Get it together Xochimex Cantina Grill.

I've been a loyal customer of Cantina and have always had wonderful experiences there, thanks to the delicious food and the friendly staff. However, during my recent visit today, I witnessed an unfortunate incident where the staff was treated poorly by some unruly customers. Despite this, the manager, remained composed and handled the situation admirably. It saddened me to see such mistreatment, but I still appreciate the excellent service and food at cantina. I hope this was an isolated incident, and the management continues to support their staff through challenging situations.
